  tomorrow before warming up into the 50s and 60s Sunday and
  Monday.

- The warmest days will be Wednesday and Thursday with highs in
  the 70s.

Today and tonight...

A big upper level trough extends from Canada to the Desert
Southwest. Nebraska and Kansas are under the leading edge of this
upper trough. Enhanced lift along the leading edge of the upper
trough has resulted in some showers moving across portions of south
central and central Nebraska and north central Kansas. Temperatures
across the area are in the upper 30s to the 40s. Rain showers are
expected across much of the area today. Winds will turn toward the
north today along and behind a cold front as the upper trough moves
a little further east. Winds will be breezy behind the front with
gusts up to 35 mph. High temperatures today are expected to be in
the mid 40s to mid 50s. Skies will begin to clear tonight from
northwest to southeast. Temperatures tonight will drop into the
upper teens to low 30s. Precipitation will end tonight across the
area from northwest to southeast. Some of the precipitation may
briefly be in the form of snow tonight as temperatures drop to near
to below freezing. Little to no accumulation of snow is expected.

Saturday through Thursday...

The upper trough will continue moving over Nebraska and Kansas on
Saturday with northerly winds. High temperatures on Saturday will be
similar to those today. Mostly clear skies are expected Saturday
night as winds become more westerly. Temperatures Saturday night
will drop into the upper teens and 20s. The previously mentioned
upper trough will extend from Canada to Texas on Sunday. Winds will
continue to have a westerly component to them. Temperatures will
warm up into the upper 50s to lower 60s with sunny to mostly sunny
skies. Low temperatures Sunday night will be in the mid 20s to mid
30s. A cold front will begin to back into the area from the
northeast on Monday primarily affecting locations along and
northeast of the Tri-Cities area. High temperatures Monday will
range from the mid 50s to mid 60s. Low temperatures Monday night
will be similar to those from the previous night. A surface low will
move across the area on Tuesday followed by a surface high. High
temperatures on Tuesday are expected to be in the lower 60s to mid
70s. Rain chances will increase up to near 20% Tuesday night with
lows in the upper 30s to mid 40s. Temperatures are expected to warm
up into the 70s on Wednesday along and in advance of a northerly
wind shift. Low temperatures Wednesday night are expected to be
mostly in the 40s. High temperatures on Thursday will again warm up
into the 70s with sunny to mostly sunny skies.
